Felts are used in general for silencing, anti rattle & squeak, sound absorbtion and water sealing purposes in automotive, white goods and hvac induestries widely. Cotton, phenolic, polyester, non-wowen and tela feslts are the well known types. Wheel arc, instrument panel, door panel and various interior trim parts are the typical places where felts are used either with adhesive or welding process.
